Operating principle of touch switch


A light touch switch is an electronic switch that can be turned on by gently pressing the switch button during use. When the hand is released, the switch is turned off, and its internal structure is realized by the metal elastic piece being elastically moved. Due to its small size and light weight, touch switches are widely used in household appliances, such as audio and video products, digital products, remote controls, communication products, household appliances, security products, toys, computer products, fitness equipment, * equipment, money verification pens, laser pen buttons, and so on. However, touch switches also have their drawbacks: Frequent pressing can cause metal shrapnel fatigue and loss of elasticity, leading to failure. Therefore, most electrical buttons are now directly replaced with conductive rubber or pan switch hardware tabs, such as computer keyboards, remote controls, and so on. The working principle of the light touch switch is as follows: 220V alternating current passes through the bulb H and the rectifier full bridge, becoming a DC pulsating voltage; As a forward bias voltage, it is applied to the thyristor VS and R branches. During the daytime, when the brightness is greater than a certain degree, the photosensitive diode D presents a bottom resistance state of ≤ 1K Ω, causing the triode V to turn off, and its emitter has no current output. The unidirectional thyristor VS is blocked due to no trigger current. At this time, the current flowing through the bulb H is ≤ 2.2mA, and the bulb H cannot emit light. The resistor R1 and the regulator diode DW ensure that the bias voltage of the triode V does not exceed 6.8 V, providing protection for the triode. At night, when the brightness is less than a certain level, the photodiode D presents a high resistance state of ≥ 100K Ω, making the transistor V conduct in the forward direction. The emitter has a voltage of about 0.8V, causing the thyristor VS to trigger and conduct, and the bulb H emits light.
